Prevention Mutual

The prevention mutual product created by the CSST (Commission de la Santé et de la Sécurité du Travail) consists of a group of employers coming together for the common purpose of preventing employment injury and encouraging the rehabilitation and return to work of employees who have suffered an accident, thus reducing CSST annual contributions.  As Prevention Mutual managers, we ensure and maintain the groups’ performance by:

  • Medico-administrative and medico-legal claim follow-ups
  • Recommendations for minimizing the cost of absenteeism and encouraging a return to work

  • Compliance visits in accordance with CSST requirements

We offer a complete actuarial report service (Prevention Mutual) for performance appraisals according to established objectives.  This service is also offered to organizations within the retrospective plan.  Our reports relative to Occupational Health and Safety financial matters will allow you to validate and understand all of your CSST invoices and financial statements, to duly choose your insurance premium, foresee future assessments and make informed decisions in your daily claim management.  Our mandate essentially consists of:
